Book Review: A London Pub For Every Occasion

This book thoughtfully and creatively lists 161 pubs in 22 unique sections. Each section is tailored towards a different whim or fancy, from pubs for ‘when you need a place to hide’, places that welcome cats and dogs to party establishments and even destinations with their own special story.A-London-Pub-For-Every-Occasion-w

The central London bias is weighted towards the ‘visitor’, however its ability to avoid the obvious tourist traps gives it an air of authenticity and credibility.

There is a very useful fold out map at the back which enables the reader to plan visits to a number of hostelries in the same evening.

We also love the design and illustrations and tongue-in-cheek tone.
