Roast hosts launch of Shekhar Bhatia exhibition
Acclaimed Borough Market-based restaurant Roast has selected the work of leading journalist, photographer and documentary maker Shekhar Bhatia for its next exhibition.
Running until 1st October, Brown Brits is a poignant and fascinating celebration of the contribution that Asian people have made to British life.
Shekhar Bhatia has been a staff reporter with the Evening Standard, Sunday Mirror and The Observer, as well as chief reporter on the Sunday Express and showbusiness editor of the Daily Express. He has reported extensively for the BBC and worked on five documentaries, the latest of which, Oscar Pistorius – What Really Happened?, was BBC3’s most watched ever programme. He is now set to contribute to a second production from South Africa.
